Leslie F. Stebbins, M.Ed; MLIS
Director, Research

Leslie is CS4Ed's Director for Research. She provides primary and secondary research, writing, and analysis on issues relating to K–12 education, higher education, and publishing.

Leslie has more than twenty–five years of experience in education with a background in library and information science, instructional design, research, and teaching. She has worked with Brandeis University as an instructional designer and research librarian and has served as a consultant to Tufts University, Facing History and Ourselves, the University of California Santa Barbara, Harvard University, and the U.S. Department of Education on issues relating to online learning, technology integration, learning tools and objects, web design and usability, Universal Design for Learning, and online learning communities.

Leslie is the author of numerous articles and four books including her most recent: Finding Reliable Information Online: Adventures of an Information Sleuth, Rowman & Littlefield 2015. She recently co–authored the 2014 U.S. Educational Technology Market: PreK–12 report for the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) and Games for a Digital Age: K–12 Market Map and Investment Analysis with John Richards and Kurt Moellering for the Cooney Center sponsored by the Gates Foundation. Leslie has an M.Ed. from the Technology Innovation & Education Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Master's in Information Science from Simmons College.
